Why did you decide to become an attorney? – Joseph G. Alvarez
Growing up I never had any intention of going to college. I just wanted to be in the Marine Corps and serve overseas. I knew I needed to have a 2.0 to play football. I barely graduated with a 2.5 GPA. However, on April 7, 2006, I was involved in a serious automobile accident, and as a result of that automobile accident, my injuries precluded me from enlisting in the Marine Corps. At that time, I was confused and lost as to what I was going to do with a career for the rest of my life. I had a very strategic and aggressive nature, and I thought that advocating on behalf of people who’d been involved in serious automobile accidents as well would be a great career path for myself.
