Born and raised in Tampa, Ashley Pi brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to The Matassini Law Firm. A proud graduate of The Academy of the Holy Names High School, Ashley continued her education at the University of South Florida, earning a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Spanish. She later pursued her legal education at Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan, where she excelled academically and earned a place on the Dean’s List.

Ashley began her legal career as a prosecutor at the Office of the State Attorney for the 13th Judicial Circuit in Hillsborough County, Florida. During her more than four years as a prosecutor, she gained extensive trial experience, handling a wide variety of cases, including felony, misdemeanor, and juvenile matters. Ashley developed a particular focus on misdemeanor and felony domestic violence cases, earning a reputation as a skilled and dedicated advocate in the courtroom.

After her time as a prosecutor, Ashley transitioned to the civil sector, where she defended nursing homes against allegations involving bed sores, fractures, and general abuse claims. This experience gave her valuable insights into civil litigation and further honed her skills as a litigator.

Today, Ashley is proud to serve as a member of The Matassini Law Firm, where she focuses on criminal defense and personal injury cases. Her background as a prosecutor provides her with an insider’s perspective on the criminal justice system, enabling her to develop strategic and effective defenses for her clients.

As a first-generation Cuban-American, Ashley is fully bilingual in English and Spanish, allowing her to passionately and effectively represent Tampa’s Spanish-speaking community. She is deeply committed to protecting the rights of all her clients and ensuring they receive the justice they deserve.

Outside the courtroom, Ashley is a devoted wife and proud mother to a beautiful young daughter. Her dedication to her family mirrors her commitment to her clients—providing care, compassion, and unwavering support every step of the way.
