MATASSINI LAW FIRM DONATES TO METROPOLITAN MINISTRIES

Matassini_Letterhead

Metropolitan Ministries is a nonprofit organization established by and for local families. The organization is acutely aware of the growing hardship households face during the holiday season, which has only been compounded by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Matassini Law Firm believes in taking care of others in the community, which we all need to do now more than ever. That is why we donate to Metropolitan Ministries and support this local organization. This year, as in years past, we donated Boxes of Hope and provided donations to pay for holiday meals for families in need this Thanksgiving. Our firm understands that this is a challenging time for our community. By coming together, thinking of our neighbors, and donating what we can, we can assist in the goal to minimize hunger in our community and ensure basic needs are being met.

Our decision to give back stems from our desire to show our gratitude to our community, to show appreciation for what we have and to do something positive for others. How do you give back? Doing a good deed for others does not always have to involve money. Volunteering, showing empathy for those less fortunate, even a small random act of kindness goes a long way. While we count our blessings at this time of year, the need continues year-round, and giving should as well.

Here are a few easy ways to turn the season of giving into year-round activities:

  • Write letters or assemble care packages for military personnel
  • Contribute to food drives
  • Perhaps a neighborhood park needs improvements

We at the Matassini Law Firm encourage you to volunteer on a regular basis. Hopefully we can all get in to the habit of helping others and not just on an annual basis during the holidays.

Sincerely,

Christina Pappas Matassini, Esq.
