COVID-19 Message
Dear Client,
We have been watching the COVID-19 pandemic carefully, and we want to keep you updated on the current operating procedures in our office. We appreciate that this is a stressful time for you and your families. It is for us and our employees as well.
The global effort to slow the spread of COVID-19 is presenting tough choices for small business leaders. We have decided to remain open for business during this difficult time. We are following daily developments closely while prioritizing the health and well-being of our employees. We are endeavoring to be safe, supportive and productive during this critical time.
Should you have any questions about your case during the next few months please communicate with us by telephone conference or video conferencing (Skype, Facetime) rather than an office conference unless there is an urgent need for a “face to face” office meeting.
Any documents that need to be signed can be done electronically via DocuSign (electronic document signing system), email, or by U.S. Postal service. Do not worry — our office will assist you every step of the way in producing and receiving documents during this time.
Here are some important things to know that we are doing as a local business:
- We are following the CDC’s guidelines which includes regular hand washing & having no physical contact with each other or clients (no handshakes or hugs).
- We have increased our efforts to clean & disinfect the office-including between appointments — Increasing sanitizing of high-touch surfaces and restrooms.
- Limiting foot traffic within the office and working on files safely in isolation whenever possible.
For the safety of our community, we ask that anyone who is feeling ill or who has potentially come into contact with the virus to refrain from coming by the office or scheduling an office appointment.
It is an unprecedented time, and we want to remind you that our law firm is here for you and your family. It is important, especially in times of uncertainty, to continue self-care & utilize your support systems & coping strategies. Lastly, if you have specific concerns or questions, please feel free to contact our office by phone or email at your convenience.
Sincerely,
Nicholas G. Matassini
