What is your approach? – Christina Matassini

My approach throughout my legal career has been to outwork everyone. When you hire me, you will have the confidence knowing that there’s an attorney working on your case. I take pride in getting to know my clients and getting to know every aspect and being meticulous in detail when handling any kind of claim. I will get to know you and I will get to know the ins and outs of your case and explore every possible detail and make sure that every angle is pursued and advocate on your behalf.

What is your approach? – Nicholas G. Matassini

My approach to cases centers around working hard. Prior preparation prevents poor performance. I work hard on my cases. I take them very seriously. It’s my job to help you and your family overcome the difficult circumstances that led you to my office in the first place. I know how hard it is to go through what you’re going through and it’s my job to do the best I can and to fight as hard as I can for you and your family.

What is your approach? – Nick M. Matassini

As in all of the cases we take into our office, investigation and preparation are paramount. We need to find out what happened, who’s responsible, and send out letters putting people on notice that a claim is gonna be made, requiring people to preserve evidence, obtaining medical care and treatment for our clients, and in the event of litigation, we need to retain experts to present our claim. We do this in all our cases, because that’s the only way to maximize the value of a claim for our clients. We’ve had satisfied clients for 42 years, and I’m still at it.

What is your process? – Nicholas G. Matassini

My process in handling cases is the same whether it’s a big case or a small case. I work hard, and I fight as hard as I can for the person I’m representing. You’ve got to dive into the case. You’ve got to understand the facts, and the law, and how it applies in this particular circumstance, and you’ve got to do the best you can day in and day out for the client. That’s what matters most.

Why did you decide to become an attorney? – Nicholas G. Matassini

That’s easy. My father was a lawyer. I was immediately drawn to the profession. I saw the suits. I saw the ties and the briefcase when I was growing up, and it was just something that interested me. In school, I loved to study history. I was interested in politics and it was an area that I wanted to succeed in and do well, so it was just something that excited me. I think I’ve just been drawn to it my entire life.

Why did you decide to become an attorney? – Nick M. Matassini

After I graduated from college, I really didn’t know what I wanted to do. I ran for county commission in Hillsborough County. I lost in a runoff by one vote and I was sitting down for lunch one day with the Hillsborough County state attorney at the time, E.J. Salcines. He asked me what I was gonna do and I told him, I really didn’t know.

And he said, “Do you want to go to law school?”

I said, “Sure, why not. That seems like a good thing to do.”

At the time, he had graduated from South Texas College of Law and he was on the Board of Directors.

He says, “If you want to go, I can get you in.”

And he made some phone calls. I took the LSAT test, did fairly well on it, and I was on my way with my wife and daughter to Houston, Texas to go to law school.

Why should I consider hiring you? – Nicholas G. Matassini

I’ve been practicing law in Florida for 42 years. I graduated from the University of South Florida. I attended South Texas College of Law. And I’ve handled all kinds of cases ranging from criminal law cases to medical malpractice to nursing home cases to auto accident and trucking cases. Shortly after I graduated from high school, I joined the Marine Corps. And when I finished my active duty, I went to the University of South Florida and went straight through until I graduated from law school. I’ve got people in the office that work with me that know what they’re doing. They’ve been with me for a long time. We have a roster of experts on every conceivable thing you can think of that help us prepare our cases and investigate our cases. We’re here to help you and we’ve been doing it for a long time and we’ve been successful.
